This coming Friday, March 4th brings our second Freshman retreat of 2011, held from 8:30am to 3:00pm in the gardens of Mission San Luis Obispo.  Continuing from our initial frosh retreat, 9th graders will have a chance to spend a day as a class to grow together and begin distinguishing their uniqueness as a class and as individuals while discovering how to claim their role as leaders in the MCP community.

Senior, Junior, and Sophomore leaders will serve as student leaders on the retreat along with a host of staff and faculty for a day of activity and reflection, discussion and contemplation.  Freshmen Parents, coordinated by Gigi Clark, will donate their efforts and resources to keeping our freshmen fed and happy as hosts of a morning snack and lunch in the Mission Gardens. 

We thank all staff and faculty, parent volunteers, and student leaders, along with our venue at Mission San Luis Obispo for creating this occasion of our final 2010-11 class retreat.  Gratitude and blessings all around!  May the day be fruitful and long-remembered!
