School will be closed on Monday, May 27th in recognition of Memorial Day.

This is the day the alumni 'pass the torch' and welcome the Class of 2013 into the alumni community. All alumni are invited to attend this incredible experience. More information to come!

As finals approach and Graduation following closely behind, the MCP community will make a day of celebration and leisure on Thursday, May 30th, at our annual Royal Day. 

We all look forward to a day of sharing memories of the year, acknowledging the accomplishments of our students, and passing an afternoon together in friendly competition and fun. The Royal Day awards ceremony begins at 9:00AM concluding at 11:00AM with lunch and festivities to follow!

Please join us for our annual Baccalaureate Celebration for the Class of 2013. Thursday, June 6th 6:30PM at the San Luis Obispo Mission we will be celebrating our wonderful seniors.

Please join us on Friday, June 7th as we celebrate the graduation of the class of 2013. The commencement will be downtown in the Mission Plaza beginning at 6:30PM. We are proud of our graduates and hope you will join us as we celebrate this momentous occasion!

"Cinderella" by Rodgers and Hammerstein

Mission Prep and Old Mission School are performing Cinderella a Rodgers and Hammerstein production. The show will be performed in the Performing Arts Center at MCP. Show dates are 12/4 at 7:00 p.m., 12/5 at 2:00 & 7:00 p.m., 12/10 thru 12/12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for children and $10.00 for adults. Come see the show!!!!

MCP in SLO Holiday Parade

Mission College Prep will "Light Up the Holidays" with a float in the 35th annual Holiday Parade this Friday December 3rd at 7pm in downtown San Luis Obispo!  Students in the  cast of Cinderella directed by Jennifer Blomfield will ride the float named "Some Enchanted Evening." 

MCP is a parade sponsor this year.  We are the 10th float in the parade.

Three Varsity Teams Cruise in Season Openers

Last night saw the 2010-11 Winter Sports season open with a bang as the Varsity Girl's Soccer and Varsity Boy's and Girls Basketball opened their season's with victories.

 

Mission Prep 59, Santa Maria 38

Mission Prep opened its season with a comfortable home victory.

The Royals held the Saints to just seven points in both the first and second quarters to go up 25-14 at the break.

Zach Allmon had 11 points and 15 rebounds, and Art Lane added a second double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
