The weight training class at Mission College Prep is designed to give the student a brief, basic exercise workout during the 38-47 minute class period. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the students meet in the weight room. The students will go through 3-4 different events each day with an emphasis on using proper and safe lifting techniques. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the students meet in the gym where they experience a series of exercises intended to build speed, agility, leg strength and quick footwork.
