Royals Headed to Football Finals

The Mission Prep Royals have advanced to the CIF-SS Northeast Division FINALS! 

Behind a strong performance, the Royals beat Salesian 54-26 to advance to the Divisional Finals this Friday at Rio Hondo Prep at 7:00pm. 

The Royals started the scoring with an unpredictable pass to Andrew DaRosa for a 50 yard TD that started the flow of scoring. They followed that with a safety in the endzone to go up 9-0 early.

"Tyler Baty will end his football career at Mission Prep with some impressive statistics but he'll also leave with an impressive record. The senior quarterback has led the Royals to an 8-0 season heading into Friday's final regular season game against 9-0 Bishop Diego. Both teams are ranked number one in their divisions. The game at Mission Prep is the KSBY game of the week."

Mission Prep girls volleyball team downs Villanova Prep

Jessa Culver had 32 digs, and Noelle Laird had 18 kills as the Mission Prep girls volleyball team (7-9) beat Villanova Prep 25-13, 22-25, 25-14, 25-17 on Saturday at home.

Grace Ready had 13 kills, and Natalie Brescia had 31 assists for Mission Prep.

Football vs Rancho Christian CANCELLED

Football vs Rancho Christian has been cancelled this weeks. 

Rancho Christian had cancelled their Varsity football team for the remainder of the season due to injuries and other factors. Attempts to find another game were unsuccessful as most team schedules are full and complete.

Mission Prep will have the week off before they host Bishop Diego in a great battle between small schools!
