Welcome to the MCP Parents page. This page is specifically designed to inform, educate, serve and resource parents. To the right is a quick peek at the next five upcoming events and these will automatically update as the date passes. Below those dates is a section of quick links that take you to the Parents Association page, tuition payment plan website and other resources that are helpful on a regular basis. Down the page even further you will find links to the most recent Royal Prides (School Newsletter to Current Parents) and documents that might be needed during your time at MCP. FInally, in the center of the page recent news that celebrates our MCP community is automatically streamed to the page as it is addeed to the website.

Mooney Places Second

Annie Mooney placed second in Thursday's SLO County Meet six seconds (18:44) behind race winner Christine Hoffmann (SLO). 

The Lady Royals finished 4th in the team race. While the Boy's finished 8th. 

Both teams will wait to see where they will be seeded for the CIF Southern Section prelims.

Royals to face off with Titans

The Royals will travel down the 101 to visit the Nipomo Titans. 

The Royals are coming off a 14-0 road victory over host Riverside Christian, where the Royals defense held Cougar's running back D.J. Gordan to 52 yards rushing. Gordan came into the game averaging 212 yards per game. 

The victory was capped off by Senior Tucker Marsano's (pictured) 65 yard touchdown interception.

Spirit Week Preparations to Kick-off!!

As our last weekend prior to Homecoming festivities approach, excited officers and volunteers from each class prepare for a dynamic week of activity.

Weeks of preparation and organization have brought us to the cusp of Spirit Week, and when the bells ring to end E-period at 3pm on Friday, October 29th, spirited and willing volunteers from each class will gather with decorative materials ready to transform four rather plain hallways into four Disney-themed lands of imagination and wonder: Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland, and Fantastyland.

MCP Interact Club announces Food Drive success

In the annual fall food drive ("Trick-or-Treat-so-Others-can-Eat"), MCP's Interact Club collected 1722 lbs of non-perishable food items that were dropped off today at the Food Bank of SLO County. We are thankful to the community at large that gives so generously.

SLO County Meet Today!

Come Out to Laguna Lake to witness your Royals take on the rest of San Luis County. 

Mission Prep's Annie Mooney will look to continue here stellar season as she will match up with Templeton's Savannah Camacho and the rest of the counties top runners. 

Boy's Race starts at 3:30 while the Girl's Race will start at 4pm.

National Merit Scholars at Mission Prep

Mission College Prep is excited to announce that senior Rebecca Kudija is a semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Rebecca scored in the top 1% of all high school seniors nationally on the 2009 PSAT. She now has the opportunity to continue in the competition to qualify as a National Merit Finalist. Finalists will be announced in February 2011. 8400 National Merit Scholarships will be offered.

Guest Speaker - Chris Simning

You are invited to come and listen to our guest speaker Chris Simning.  Chris is a motivational speaker who has a wonderful life story to share with us.  He speaks all over the country to schools, churches and youth camps about his rare neuromuscular disease, which has affected his walking, and his speech.  Through God’s love and grace he has given Chris the ability to use his pain and struggles to encourage others.
