This form will need to be filled out by students and signed by teachers whose classes they will miss for a school activity or athletic event. Maiya Clark Named National Merit Scholar Semifinalist

Congratulations to Maiya Clark who was has been named as a Semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Maiya took the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and qualified as a Semifinalist placing her in the top 1% of high school students nation-wide. Only 16,000 students received this honor out of the original 1.5 million who took the test. Of this pool of 16,000 about 15,000 are expected to advance to finalist level which will be announced in February of 2014.
