Please join us in congratulating Freshmen Luke Montoya for being recognized as league MVP and First Team All-League. Luke was 5 shots ahead of his nearest competitor and medalist in every match we played this year. Luke shot a 76 on Thursday and will be playing in CIF on Tuesday June 1st in Lemoore. Congratulations to Luke!!!
On Monday, MCP Women's Golf competed in the Ocean League Finals at Santa Maria CC. Margaret Heffernan finished 1 shot off the lead finishing 2nd and qualifying for CIF for the 3rd year in a row. For the 1st time in school history, the MCP Women's Golf team qualified for CIF with a combined score of 547, needing 560 to advance. Our senior captain, Kate Heffernan, sank the clinching putt. The team will be competing in Lemoore on Wednesday, June 2nd. Go Lady Royals!!!
