After the preliminary competitions MCP advanced to the semifinals of the SLO County Mock Trial competition as the #3 seed but lost in a close contest to county champions, SLO High. (Although in all of our trials, our accused murderer, Nick Loughead, was never found guilty thanks to our excellent Defense Team.)
Unfortunately the trials were once again held over Zoom. We are looking forward to holding them in-person at the county courthouse next year.
