From the Business Office:
Parent Service Hours due APRIL 15TH
Every Mission Prep family is required to do a minimum of 15 MCP volunteer hours each year. The deadline for submitting your Parent Service Hours is April 15th. By this date, you need to submit all the hours you have completed. If you plan to finish your hours after April 15th, you need to submit what activity you plan to do, when, and how many hours. There are many opportunities to volunteer after April 15th, such as Royal Day, Baccalaureate, and Graduation, not to mention sports events and other student activities. So plan ahead and know that Mission Prep greatly appreciates all you do to make our community so fantastic!
After April 15th, families that have not either fulfilled their hours or turned in their plan to fulfill their hours, will be charged $25 per incomplete hour. You can buy out of the Parent Service Hour requirement for $375. If you have any questions, please contact Carlesha Harris at [email protected]
Outstanding Tuition Balances
It is Mission Prep’s policy, as stated in the Parent and Student Handbook, that no student is permitted to sit for their final exams unless all tuition and fees are paid. The final exam in each course is a required component, so a student who does not sit for a final exam is in danger of rendering a semester grade of zero (F) for each course for which a final exam was not taken. In this current semester, final exams are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Please be advised that all student accounts must be current by 12 noon on May 21, or affected students will be contacted, informed of the situation, and will not be able to participate in their final exams until further notice. Once all student accounts are paid, all missed final exams will be re-scheduled for the student, but please be advised that the instructors are not obligated to grade any exam taken after June 3,202, until the instructor returns in August, 2024, potentially delaying an updated official transcript for several months. Also please be aware that anyone on Tuition Assistance for next year will lose their Tuition Assistance if they are not 100% caught up with this year’s tuition by June 30, 2024.
We understand family circumstances with regards to finances can change, especially during these difficult and uncertain times, so please contact Mrs. Carlesha Harris immediately if there are any further questions. If you would like to make a payment, please contact Mrs. Carlesha Harris in the Business Office at [email protected].
