ROYAL PRIDE WEEKLY
January 26, 2024
Hello Royals Family!
Catholic Schools Week is a national event that has been celebrated by institutions around our country for nearly fifty years. Every Catholic school recognizes this week in their own way and at MCP we celebrate with dress-up days, rallies, and mass. Details about these events are found in the school calendar and on the MCP website; and we are looking forward to a week that highlights the incredible privilege of studying (and working) in this very special place called Mission College Prep.
As our Mission statement articulates, everything that we do at MCP is done “in service to deeper life with God and deeper life with one another.” We aspire to be an exemplary school and we are constantly reflecting on areas for growth. But we also realize that schools have blind spots, areas for potential growth that are potentially known by parents and students, but not always known to school leaders. Catholic Schools Week presents us an ideal time to try and gather this vital information. To do this we will be offering both our parents and our students the opportunity for direct feedback to our school leadership, in the form of surveys. We look forward to hearing from each of you.
We look forward to next week’s celebration of Catholic schools and we thank you, everyone, for your support and partnership. Please be looking for more information about those surveys coming via email at the end of next week, and as always, have a great weekend.
Yours in Christ,
Mike Susank
Principal
