MCP will be hosting our Kitchen Use Training class on Monday, November 13th from 5:30-6:00 PM in the café. If you plan on using the kitchen or volunteering in it at anytime this year - whether for sports team dinners, tech week dinners, or other events; you must complete this training. This training is a one & done training, so if you have done it in the past you are cleared to volunteer in the kitchen. Questions, please email Karen Beaudin at [email protected].

The Breakfast Project is a new event we are starting once a month on a late start day. We will join together in community to share a meal, listen to a speaker and end with praise and worship music. Students, parents, faculty and staff are all invited. Please join us for the first Breakfast Project on Tuesday, November 7th in the Parish Hall at 8:30 AM.

St. Patrick Catholic Church will be having a Parish Mission on November 27th & 28th 2023, featuring Catholic Speaker Paul Koleske. Both Mission Sessions will be in the Church @ 10:00 AM or 7:00 PM each day. Paul Koleske is a contemporary Catholic Christian Inspirational Speaker, Musician, Composer & Recording Artist from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. All are welcomed to attend. If your student is involved in a winter sport, please plan on attending the Winter Sports Parents Meeting on Monday, November 13th from 6:00-7:00 PM. Immediately prior to this meeting, we will be hosting a Kitchen Use Training from 5:30-6:00 PM. Both meetings are in the Café Royale.

The regular season is now complete and the Royals ended up 7-3. The boys record and level of competition earned them the #1 seed in the CIF Central Section Division 3 playoffs!!! The #1 seed comes with a first round BYE so their first playoff game will be Thursday, November 9 at Cal Poly. The senior class of Joey Clipperton, Lukas Elmerick, Tristan Farelas, Gabe Foster, Drew Harrigan, Conner Lopez, Gabe Rodriguez, Drew Souza and Luke Terry have made an indelible mark on the history of Royal Football!! MCP's Honors Physics students today in lab were assigned to determine where to place both a roll of toilet paper that is dropped and a roll of toilet paper that is unraveled to make sure that they hit the ground at the same time. The students experienced the derivation of the equation using Newton’s 2nd Law for Rotation, measured the toilet paper rolls’ diameters, and by doing the derived calculations, determined where to place the unraveled roll and dropped roll so that they hit the ground at the same time.
