Do you still need to complete your LiveScan fingerprinting volunteer requirement? A representative will be on campus on Wednesday, September 4th from 4:30-6:00 PM in the Mosaic Lobby offering LiveScan fingerprinting. No RSVP required. Please bring a current ID (driver's license or passport) and $25.00 (cash, check or credit card).

MCP students 9th-12th grade are assigned summer reading for the following classes: all levels of English and AP World History. Please click the link for a complete list of assignments. It is the student's responsibility to complete these assignments prior to the first day of school or as instructed by the teacher. Other summer reading assignments for other classes will be communicated to the students directly. Happy reading Royals!

Finals begin on Wednesday, May 22nd and run through Wednesday, May 29th depending on your student's classes. You might have some questions and we hope this helps explain the schedule.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the MCP community mass at St. Timothy's in Morro Bay on Saturday, May 18th has been cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.

MCP's Nathan Bradbury and Easton Weir are representing Mission College Prep at the Central Section CIF Men's Tennis Individual Tournament this morning. In the first match of the day, Nathan Bradbury the #12 seed lost to the #5 seed from Buchanan in a great match (4-6) (1-6). Easton Weir at the #4 seed defeated the #13 seed from Bakersfield Christian (6-0) (4-6) (6-2). Easton has qualified for the Final Four Tournament tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th at SLO High at 9:00 AM. This is the Semi-Finals and should be a good one. Way to go Royals!

MCP will be hosting a community mass at St. Timothy's in Morro Bay on Saturday, May 18th at 5:30 PM.

Monday, May 13th MCP will be hosting our final Breakfast Project of the 23/24 academic year. Please join us in the Parish Hall at 8:30 AM for gospel, community, and of course breakfast! We hope to see you there.

Tuesday, May 7th from 5:00-6:30 PM, Laura Stack, author of "The Dangerous Truth About Today's Marijuana" will be the keynote speaker at a parent and educator forum talking about the harmful effects of today's marijuana on the developing brain of teens. May is the Month of Mary. For centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of May to honor Mary, Mother of God. MCP will be honoring this tradition with two statues of Mary, one in the Mosaic Lobby and the second one in the courtyard. Please help us celebrate the Month of Mary by placing a flower at the base of the courtyard statue.
