The Amazing Math Club is hosting CAML #1 next Tuesday, October 25, during lunch in room 300 and 336. All students are welcomed. CAML is a competition that occurs six times a year. The contest consists of: six questions (there is usually one question can be done "playing" with your calculator, a geometry question, and a probability question; you'll have 30 minutes max to complete the contest; you may stop when you want; and, you may use a calculator, but not one on your cell phone. Talk to your math teacher about possibly earning extra credit. If you have any questions, contact Ms. Wilsdon at [email protected], Beth Heffernan, or Annie Pompa.

Hurricane Ian Relief Project:
We invite you to join us in partnering with Catholic schools in the Fort Myers area in Florida. This town was one of the hardest hit areas in Florida after the recent hurricane. Bishop Verot High School alone has over 55 families who have completely lost their homes and most of the remaining families have significant damage. We are planning to “stuff” a moving truck and drive it across country to deliver the aid. Please consider donating the items listed to help our brothers and sisters in need on the other side of our country. Drop off locations are in the Mosaic Lobby or at the Football Game Entrance Gate.

The Sophomore class won the Spirit Point Competition for September. They will receive a Pizza Party this month. We will let you know the date soon.

The Junior Class earned 480 points during Homecoming week and received 4th place. The freshmen earned 491 points during homecoming and received 3rd place. The Sophomores earned 522 points during homecoming and received 2nd place. The seniors earned 546 points and won Homecoming!!!

The freshmen also won extra spirit points with their winning auction item!

The overall Spirit Points as of 10/10/22 are:

Sophomores 1303
Juniors 1101
Seniors 1119

A HUGE thank you goes out to the Homecoming Parent Association co-coordinators: Jessica Gingerich, Tracey Collier, Faith Foster, and Kim Goodwin for all of your hard work. The was one of the best homecoming weeks in our school's history and it is thanks to the hard work of the four of you and your team of parent volunteers. Wed., Oct. 12th – PSAT and SAT School Day (for seniors who signed up for it)

Students should be on campus no later than 8:20 am so we can start right at 8:30 am. Students should bring several wooden #2 pencils, an eraser, a calculator (new batteries or fully charged), and a snack. The Café is not open on Wednesday. Please don’t bring any electronic devises. Any electronic devises must be stored in your locker. You will not be allowed to access your locker until you are dismissed. This is an EARLY DISMISSAL day -

9th graders will be out of school at about 12:00 PM
10th and 11th graders will be out of school at about 12:30 PM
12th graders (SAT) will be out of school at about 1:00 PM
