We are pleased to report that our Men's Soccer Team had the 2nd highest team Grade Point Average in the Central Section with a 3.57. The only team higher was Liberty of Bakersfield at 3.62. Congratulations to all of the team members worked hard both on and off the pitch.

MCP has two teams participating in this weekend's MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge.
The two team are -
Saturday Team: Arthur Cary, Praise Namuleme, Annie Pompa, Sam Rosen, Neill Safreno
Sunday Team: Beth Heffernan, Sophie Hilton, Nick Loughead, Eli Marsalek, Levi Munster
The teams will be working on an open-ended, real-world math modeling question. The students have 14-hours to complete the challenge which includes a 20-page report. Good luck to our MCP MathWorks teams! Go Royals!

Registration is now open for the San Miguel Roll-Off Royal Open golf tournament on Saturday, March 25th at the Links Course in Paso Robles.

Join the Mission Athletic Fund & Foundation for the San Miguel Roll-Off Royal Open benefiting MCP & OMS athletics and tuition assistance. The tournament will be a shotgun start and is open to the first 30 teams to register. This is a 4-man best ball scramble tournament. The day includes a round of golf, breakfast, adult beverages, and a BBQ afterwards to view the Elite 8 NCAA Basketball Tournament.

In their first league match of the season, the MCP Men's Tennis team soundly shut down Santa Ynez Valley High School 8-1 amid blustery, high wind conditions. The Royals are now off to play the California Tennis Classic tournament this weekend in Clovis along with dozens of teams from throughout California. Way to go Royals!

Our MCP Men's Basketball team will be taking on Mission Bay in the 2023 CIF State Basketball Regional Quarterfinal game tonight in San Diego. Tip off is at 7 PM with the livestream being provided by NFHS Network. Click the link to view the broadcast. Go Royals!

Calling all 9th, 10th and 11th grade families…
The Western Association for College Admission Counseling is hosting a Spring College Fair on Tuesday, March 28th. The fair will be held at Templeton High School from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and is open to all students, parents, and grandparents.
